ABOUT US

Corporate wellness initiatives encourage healthy habits in employees.

Workplace Well-being or Corporate Wellness is defined by how an employee feels about themselves and their work. It focuses on improving individual health to achieve organisational wellbeing. It aims to ensure workers are safe, satisfied, and engaged. At its heart, workplace wellbeing focuses on preventative action that an organisation can provide. Through employer-sponsored initiatives such as wellness activities, exercise initiatives, supportive HR policies and more.

In the past 5 years, a huge surge in demand for these types of services has occurred due to the broad array of benefits they bring. Organisations that have introduced such initiatives in their workplace have found an abundance of benefits. Most notably including improved employee engagement, productivity, reduced turnover, and overall job satisfaction.

An extensive survey by McCrindle surveying over 1,000 Australian workers on their workplace well-being identified corporate wellness programs. As forefront in 74% of workers’ minds. In fact, two in five Australians actively view employee well-being programs as important when job searching.

The conversation surrounding workplace wellbeing has rapidly gained attention. Largely due to the pandemic forcing many to reassess their work-life balance priorities. So much so, that up to 85% of surveyed workers believe that employers should create an environment that proactively addresses stress in the workplace.

Across the globe, this shift can already be seen. In the US, over half of the companies provide dedicated mental and emotional health programs. While half of the companies in the Asia Pacific are enhancing their healthcare benefits.

Organisations that have been investing back into their employees have found an abundance of benefits. Most notably including improved employee engagement, productivity, reduced turnover, and overall job satisfaction.
